My name is Teresa and I live in Terre Haute, IN.  I absolutely love the Shih Tzu breed.  I got my first Shih Tzu in 2004 for Mother's Day.  About 6 months later I got my second one.  They are my babies (literally).  I take them everywhere with me.  My dogs live inside with me - Always !!
Their litters will always be inside too.  I am home everyday, so the puppies get lots of love, attention, socialization and human/other animal interaction.  I only raise Shih Tzus.  It is an amazing experience, and I have had great feedback with my litters.  My puppies come prespoiled and ready for you to continue on with this.

My first and top priority are my dogs and the Shih Tzu breed.  I want my "grandbabies" to go to the best homes possible, so I will NEVER sell to a  puppy mill, broker, or pet store, etc., or to anyone that I feel does not have the same interests in mind.

Please, Please research dog breeds, and determine what breed is best for you and your individual or family needs !!!  So many dogs are dumped or taken to the shelter because research was NOT done on the different breeds, and which ones work with which person or family.

The Story of Bubba

His story starts here.  He was one of Kuma and Nadia's little males from their litter born on 3-809
The picture to the left is of him sleeping - just the sweetest thing.

He went to his new parents on 5-2-09.
Bubba now lives in Northern Indiana.
Here is one email from his Mom that reminds why I do this & that how I do it is a good thing:

Hi Teresa!

Everything is still going FINE!!!  Bubba's appointment was also great; everything checked out "normal" on his report card. 

Oh by the way, EVERYONE in the office was just oooing and ahhing over him & wanting to hold him!  And I just now noted on his "report card" they wrote, "He's sweet as can be"  And he is!

They also were very impressed with you.  They (the girls at the front desk) said, "We wish everyone came in with records as thorough and easy to read as these."  My vet also complimented you when she asked me questions about what your procedures were & what you had asked me . . .

Teresa, he just a doll.  He's doing so well in his potty training; he sleeps through the night, he is just a happy puppy!  we just love him!

Hi Teresa!

I think of you so often at times when Bubba has just accomplished something new or when he's just being awfully cute.  We just love him to pieces as does just about everyone who meets him.  He is such a HAPPY little dog.  He loves meeting new people and new animals.  He is pretty much house-trained at this point; he lets us know when he needs out.   He is so smart ! 

Anyway, I hope you are doing ok and the rest of Bubba's family too.  I'm sending a picture of him; this was taken 2-3 weeks ago...I'll see what else is in the file & may send more than just one.  Thank you again for starting him out so loved and cared for.
